Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, born in 1977 in Nigeria, whom she left at the age of 19 to study in Philadelphia, evokes in her works, with caustic humor, the question of race and racism. Can one be American and Nigerian? Do we have to be totally immersed in American culture in order to belong to it and forget our origins?
