"Assa Traoré is a strong, dignified, courageous woman ; a woman of today, a woman politician. »

Coming from a family of Malian origin, Assa Traoré is the sister of Adama Traoré, who died after a police check in Beaumont-sur-Oise in July 2016. She became the spokesperson for the family and worked actively to shed light on the circumstances of her brother's death. She published Lettre à Adama with Elise Vigoureux in 2017 in which she cried out her desire for "Truth and Justice".
